The island of Tatihou
Take a boat from the port of Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue to the island of Tatihou. This small island of 28 hectares is accessible by boat or on foot at low tide.
The island of Tatihou offers a rich natural and architectural heritage. Be inspired by its wilderness and its bird sanctuary. If you like your history, then you'll love the granite houses topped with a shale roof and old buildings dating back to the 17th century.
Things to see: the oyster parks, the Vauban Tower, the Maritime Museum and 'Fort de la Caserne'
Something to do: a walk in the bird sanctuary
