The open-air museum at Sainte-Mère-Eglise
During your stay at the hotel, discover the mythical places of the 1944 D-Day Landings in Normandy. The open-air museum of Sainte-Mère-Église / Utah Beach will introduce you to the history of the landings and the key moments of the liberation.
The principle is simple, with a video guide and a GPS you go at your own pace, following a circuit of 50 km around Sainte-Mère-Eglise and Utah Beach, and you will visit 10 major D-Day sites. Utah Beach, the Leclerc Monument, Amfreville, La Fière, Picauville, ... Comments will appear on the touch screen of the video guide, giving information on each site: images and videos archives, testimonies of men and women ...
